Gospel's Intended Purpose

When you stop and ponder, what is the purpose of the Gospel, your mind is arrested by thougths that are captivating and challenging. Absent this foundation or the thought out answer to this question, we will do much like chickens with our heads cut off, simply running around the barn yard aimlessly, not realizing we are headless. Ironically, most have to pause and realize, they can not answer this question readily.

When long standing workers are asked why something is done, often they simply can say, don't know, it is how it has always been done. Often we laugh at such a notion in light of reasoning that the method is outdated and seems incongruent with the end goal.

For most of us however, it mirrors an excercise that we must consider. So take a minute and reason the answer. What is the purpose behind why God has earthen vessels proclaiming the Gospel Message?
